This frame was sold to civilian owners, converted to a BT-67 and then used by Kenn Borek Air for supplying the US National Science Foundation in Antarctica. It actually had an accident there on take off in 2007 causing the undercarriage to collapse. It was eventually repaired, flown out and is still active today.
