Denys Hunter AUBREY-SMITH, (MBE) Colonel, retired. Born 29th May 1916 at Clarence House, Friern Barnet, Middlesex and died 7th February 1974 at East House, 11 St Thomas's Estate, Marsaskala, Malta. Correct date of death is the 4th February 1974. His headstone shows the 7th.
He joined the Somerset Light Infantry about the 1st October 1939
