David BELL

David BELL. Armourer 342181, Royal Navy of H.M.S Russell who was drowned at Marsascala, Malta. ( DoB taken from his naval record 19th May 1878) at Edinburgh, Midlothian Scotland to John and Margaret G Bell, nee Glendinning of 6 Dewar Place, Edinburgh, Midlothian. Enlisted 13th July 1898, occupation prior to enlistment, blacksmith. He was drowned at Marsascala whilst bathing with a pinic party on the 23rd June 1911 aged 33. His wife was informed of his death 24th June 2011.

At rest in Plot B Grave 202, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
