- Edward John Wakefield D'ARCYwas born on 5 January 1921. He was the son of Lieutenant General John Conyers D'Arcy and Noel Patricia Wakefield of Hyde Park, County Westmeath, Southern Ireland. He married Marion Elizabeth Anderson on the 23rd May 1954 aged 33. She was the daughter of Major David Mitchell Anderson.He died on 27 June 1954 at age 33, without issue He fought in the Second World War. He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Ulster Rifles.

D'Arcy Edward John Wakefield of Bree House Craigavad and of Mossbrook Carryduff both in county Down captain H.M. army (retired) died 27 June 1954 at Musgrave Clinic Belfast Probate Belfast 10 December to Marian Elizabeth D'Arcy the widow.
He is at rest in Saintfield Parish Churchyard, County Down, Northern Ireland.
