Daniel O’RORKE. (served as O’ROUKE). Lieutenant, 170 Seige Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery.
Born 22 March 1897 at Craigavad, County Down to Ambrose Howard and Isabella Weldon White O’Rorke nee Spunner. At the time of his parents’ marriage they were residing at Greenisland, Carrickfergus, County Antrim.
His parents in 1918 were residing at Hill Mount, Cushendall, Co. Antrim
Killed in action 30 July 1918 aged 21
His mother was granted a war gratuity 14 January 1920

Administration with Will Annexed of the estate of the late Daniel O'Rorke, Craigavad, Co. Down, Lieutenant Royal Garrison Artillery, who died 30 July 1918, granted at Belfast 22 December 1919 to Isabel W. O'Rorke, Widow, the mother. Effects: £438 5s 6d.
Commemorated on a family memorial in Holywood Cemetery, Holywood, County Down.
