CAULFIELD Daniel, Private 11675, 2nd Cheshire Regiment died 3rd October 1915 aged 44 and he was the husband of Sarah Jane Caulfield, of 10, County Terrace, Knutsford. He was awarded the Territorial Efficiency Medal. He is commemorated on his parent memorial at Knutsford Cemetery, Cheshire and also on the Loos Memorial, France His son, Joseph Peter was killed in WW2 in 1940. Some notes from what remains of his army record prior the World War One. He joined up on the 2nd September 1908 and he served with the 3rd Volunteer Battalion, Cheshire Regiment aged 35. He was living with his living at 21 Market Street, Knutsford and was a labourer.
