DANBY, James of Sowerby, Yorkshire Band Sergeant of the 1st Volunteer Battalion of the Yorkshire Regiment. Born June 15th 1855 and died February 13th 1898. Erected by his comrades. He is at rest in Thirsk Cemetery, Yorkshire.
