D526 Robert MILLER. D.S.M. Master at Arms 233010, Royal Navy on HMS Benbow. Born 20 October 1888 at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland to David Buchanan and Susan Maxwell Miller nee Salmon. Enlisted 2 November 1904, occupation prior to enlistment messenger boy. Awarded the DSM (London Gazette 17 May 1918). Died 17th August 1925 aged 36 years at Royal Naval Hospital Malta of a malignant disease of the rectum. His widow and mother in Law were informed 17 August 1925.
