- D522 William SAUNDERS. Mechanic K462 Royal Navy on HMS Ceres. Born 10 March 1888 at Braintree, Essex. Enlisted 20 March 1908 on HMS Acheron, occupation prior to enlistment, agricultural labourer. Died 8th May 1925 aged 37 years on board ship of heart failure from submersion and shock. His widow was informed of his death 11 May 1925.
At rest in Plot D Grave 522 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
