D521 Carl Llewellyn Dewhurst OLIVER. Telegraphist, J48587 Royal Navy on HMS Eagle. Born 9 March 1900 at Tavistock, Devon to Arthur Llewellyn and Blanche Ethel Oliver nee Potts. 1911 he was residing with his married father at 6 Park View, Okehampton, Devon. Enlisted 20 January 1916 on HMS Impregnable. Died 6th May 1925 aged 25 at Imtarfa Military Hospital, Malta from shock and multiple burns sustained in an aeroplane accident. His mother was informed of his death on the 7 May 1925.
