D481 LEONARD ROBINSON

D481 Leonard ROBINSON. Ordinary Seaman SS10758, formerly J92780 Royal Navy on HMS Marlborough. Born 14 August 1902 at Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire to William Henry and Lucy Robinson nee Clark. 1911 he was residing with his parents and siblings at 22 Findon Road, Bury St Edmond, Middlesex. Prior to enlistment his occupation was general labourer. He enlisted 19 September 1918 as Boy II, 14 August 1920 he engaged for a period of 12 years. He re-engaged 27 June 1921 as ordinary seaman SS10758. Died 12th May 1922 aged 19 years at Royal Naval Hospital, Malta from a gunshot wound to his abdomen. His father was informed of his death 15 May 1922.
At rest in Plot D Grave 481 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
