- D443 Richard LUPTON, Able Seaman, J/59349, HMS Severn Royal Navy. Born 28 April 1886 at Dornock, Dumfrieshire to Richard and Mary Lupton nee Carruthers, occupation, fisherman. Enlisted 28 September 1916 on HMS Vivid I. Died 27th April 1919 aged 35 at Royal Naval Hospital, Malta of broncho pneumonia. His widow Elizabeth of 6 Hayes Place Annan Dumfrieshire was informed of his death.
At rest in Plot D Grave 443 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
