D408 William Kay TAYLOR. Able Seaman, SS/1374, HMS Caesar. Born 5 June 1887 at Manchester, Lancashire to Alfred and Jane of (1891) 30 Chartsworth Street, Beswick, Lancashire. Enlisted 8 May 1906 on HMS Vivid I. 13 May 1911 transferred to Royal Fleet Reserve as Able Seaman B3763. Died 16th October 1918, in Bighi Royal Naval Hospital aged 34 years from influenza and broncho pneumonia. Son of Sarah Ann Bagshaw (formerly Taylor ), of 18 Old Road, Heaton Norris, Stockport, and the late Reuben Taylor. Born at Reddish, Stockport.
At rest in Plot D Grave 408 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
