CROSSGAR WAR MEMORIAL
Situated in Crossgar War Memorial Community Hall, John Street, Crossgar, Downpatrick, Co Down.
This hall has been erected by the people of Crossgar and District with the generous assistance of the Carnegie United Kingdom Trust in memory of gallant men who made the supreme sacrifice in defence of freedom in World Wars.

Cpl Trelford Withers was working in his butcher’s shop when IRA terrorists murdered him. He was survived by his wife and five children.
