Communication Platoon.

Can you give us anymore info on this great picture buddy ?

So, this photo has been captured in 1985 in Asadabad, Kunar province, Afghanistan. During this period I there served in a communication platoon of the 2-nd Soviet infantry battalion.
The photo is made near Marawara district where on April, 21st, 1985 there was a fight between mojaheds and the Soviet special troops.

Several days ago I have found a photo of my platoon in this gallery. Two men are alike on this photos.



I have simply decided to add two more photos.

I also have found documentary video of the 3rd Battalion 3rd Marines I. Co. 3rd Plt basing in Asadabad.

And it is interesting to me, as the American soldiers serve there today.
