I read the thread about operation Loren, but I didn't quite catch what was the emergency. Or was it ever told to you or something which have to be kept under the lid?
An emergency tour was when something required doing in Northern Ireland and they needed extra troops to do it, it wasnt an emergency in the real sense of the word.
