the work horse of the British (and others) army a go anywhere (as long as it wasn't raining) start always (with the use of the starting handle)
and a very comfortable ride (as long as you weren't in it)
I remember this vehicle being run on petrol and having a button to start it somewhere in the middle of the dash. 39 Heavy Regt RA had one when I first joined them in 1983. If I remember correctly they were pretty quick too
