German Tornados, when operating as tankers, are fitted with a Sargent Fletcher bubby-bubby refuelling pod, which is fitted on the centreline fuselage point. The extended hose is 15m (49ft) long.
The transfer rate is 300kg/min to 600kg/min and the maximum transfer is not more than 3400kgs (this is depending on the receiving aircrafts fuel level)
The maximum operating time for the tanker aircraft, with the hose out, is 45 minutes.
