Both Sgt Alan William Story (Pilot) and Sgt Percy Hankins (WOp/AG) were killed whilst flying in Lockheed Hudson III, V9126 of the OADU, which crashed on the approach to RAF Luqa at Siggiewi on the second leg of a ferry flight to the Far East.
