ALEXANDER, William Gemmell, 2nd Lieutenant, 7th Liverpool regiment died 15th May 1915 aged 24. Son of William Harrison Alexander Esqr, J.P. and Mrs Mary Sophia nee Gemmell of Lancelyn Bromborough, Cheshire. Commemorated on the Le Touret Memorial, France
AMPHLETT MORTON, James Fairfax, 2nd Lieutenant, Kings Royal Rifle Corps, died 10th January 1915 aged 24. Mentioned in despatches. Son of James amd Edith of Puxton House, Kidderminster, Worcestershire. Buried in Browns Road Military Cemetery, Festubert, France
ANDERSON, John Turnbull, 2nd Lieutenant, 20th Coy, Machine Gun Corps, (Infantry) died 5th October 1917 aged 19. Son of John Glover and Margaret of 10, Kingsley Avenue, Kettering. Educated at Laxton School, Oudle and Oudle School. Scholar at Clare College. Commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Zonnebeke, Belgium.

Son of Doctor James Battersby Bailey and Louisa F Bailey of 11, Herne Hill Mansions, Herne Hill, London. Native of Bognor, Sussex and brother of Tom who also fell. Buried at Roclincourt Valley cemetery, France

Son of Doctor James Battersby Bailey and Louisa Florence, nee Carr of 11, Herne Hill Mansions, Herne Hill, London. Native of Bognor and brother of Philip who also fell. Buried at Archangel Allied Cemetery, Russia

Buried in Hooge Crater Cemetery, Ieper, Belgium

Having volunteered to work with the British Red Cross Society he served
for approximately 4 months before he was repatriated and suffering from
T.B. He died in 1915 but his name does not appear on the CWGC database -
which is why I started research. I have started to add details to his
Lifestory on the IWM digital memorial...

Firstly his full name is as above Henry Hilton (his mother's family
name) Monk (his father's family name) GOULD.
