...now we all know that Americans and Canadians and whoever else took part in this sacrificed decoy of a raid was not the objective but the real objective was to get to the signal decoder in the German headquarters in town,oh and did I mention this op was the brainchild of the man who would be 007,not a very well planned plan!!!
I learned of the full story on a Discovery or History channel special in which the whole operation seemed to be doomed from the start,yes the Calgary tanks and associated Regts were all gung ho to go but the planning and research was just not there. This is one that many planners will have to live with!!
