- Private 50465,Walter CLEGG, 10th Cheshire Regiment killed in action in France April 14th 1918 aged 20 He was the son of Walter and Harriet Jane of 8 Moody Street, Congleton. He is commemorated on his parents memorial in St Peter's extended churchyard, Congleton, Cheshire and also on the Ploegsreert, Memorial, Belgium
