CLARKSON, Herbert, Private 1/47203, West Yorkshire Regiment, formerly C/12574, King's Royal Rifle Corps, died 22nd July 1918 aged 22. He was the son of John and Jane Elizabeth of St James Green, Thirsk, Yorkshire. In 1911 he was a Tea Grocers apprentice. He is at rest in Thirsk Cemetery, Yorkshire.
