Children's WW1 Art 10

The artwork here was produced by children at my daughters school, the kids are aged 11 years.

The artwork was produced to introduce a play the kids put on about WW1 at the Victoria Swimming baths in Manchester. The Victoria Baths are currently undergoing renovation funded by the National Lottery and other funding initiatives.

I love to see artwork produced by kids because it gives us an idea of how they perceive the subject matter. I found there perception of WW1 very impactive as their art depicts the horror of war.
"Fight for your country or Die a coward"
Amazing that kids have been taught to think that way
Or are they just making reference to the way people thought back then?
