BOWERS, William Aubrey, 2nd Lieutenant 5th North Staffordshire Regiment, died of wounds at Gommecourt 2nd July 1916 aged 29. Son of William E and Alice of Caverswall near Cheadle Staffordshire and husband of Vera Aimee neeLatham also of Caverswall. Buried at Warlincourt Halte cemetery, Saulty, France. His Will. William Aubrey of Caverswall Castle, Staffs, 2nd Lieutenant 5th N.S.R. died 2nd July 1916 at 20. Casualty Clearing Station France. Probate at London 23rd September 1916 to Walter Edward Blagg, Solicitor and Vera Aimee Bowers, widow. Effects 137821.10s

ADDENBROOKE, John Homfray, 2nd Lieutenant North Staffordshire Regiment attached to the 11th Manchester Regiment,(formerly Pte 1196, Royal Fusiliers) killed in action at Beaumont Hamel 23rd November 1916 aged 20. Son of Rev John Gordon and Ethel Warren Addenbrooke of Knebworth, Herts. Buried at Hamel Military Cemetery, Beaumont Hamel, France
