Charles STEWART. Royal Navy pensioner working at HM Dockyard, Malta. Died 28th August 1914 aged 53 of carcinoma of the tongue and glands at Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta. He memorial was erected as a token of esteem by his brother masons. At rest in Plot B Grave 234, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.Wills and Admin, Ancestry. His effects went to Harold Francis John Young.
He may have been Charles Stewart 103635 Royal Navy. Born 19th January 1862, enlisted 25th January 1878, occupation prior to enlistment. He was discharged to pension 31st March 1909 at HMS Egmont, Malta, shore base. His rank on discharge Chief Petty Officer, Stoker.
