Charles LITTLEWOOD, QMS Instructor of Musketry, died at St. Paul’s Bay on Sunday 9th April 1905. At the time of his death his family was living with Corporal and Mrs. Gordon at St. Paul’s Bay as their home at Ghain Tuffieha was not ready. At about 9.30 pm he said ‘goodnight’ to Corporal Gordon and his wife, but shortly afterwards Mrs. Littlewood called Mrs. Gordon saying her husband was feeling ill. Medical aid was called but he expired at around 1.30 a.m. on the Monday morning. He left a widow and child. His funeral took place at Bighi Naval Hospital Cemetery on Tuesday 11th April.
