Charles Keith BOURNER, Marine, PO/X4512, Royal Marines, HMS Aurora, Died 23rd December 1941 aged 21, on board the cruiser HMS Aurora. His ship together with others were searching for an Italian Convoy en route to Tripoli when she hit a mine and damaged causing a return to Malta. Son of R.J. and Caroline Bourner, of Tonbridge, Kent
Frederick Joseph CLAPHAM, Private, 7612754, Royal Army Ordnance Corps, died 9th September 1941, aged 25 years. The son of Private Frederick Thomas Clapham, The Royal Warwickshire Regiment (killed in action in France 22nd September 1918) and J. May Clapham, of Darlington, Co. Durham. Wills and Admin, Ancestry. Home address, Benwell Millbank Road, Darlington, died on date stated. His effects went to Jemima May Clapham, widow.
George Philip William TOLCHER, Sergeant, 5495946, 1st Battalion, Hampshire Regiment, died 29th November 1941, aged 27 years. Son of George Victor and Frances Mary Tolcher, of Cosham, Portsmouth
