Charles Henry BRIDGES. Petty Officer Stoker 281205, Royal Navy on HMS Victory. Born July 1869, baptised 17th August 1869 to Martin and Charlotte, neee Walker at Warham, Norfolk, enlisted 22nd November 1895, occupation prior to enlistment, collier. Died 7th March 1907 aged 37 years of cerbral haemorrhage in Royal Naval Hospital, Malta. His brother Frederick Bridges of Ivy Lodge, Berrick, Yorkshire was informed of his death on the 7th March 1907.
N.B. His naval record shows his DoB as 24th January 1871
At rest in Plot B Grave 137, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta. (Unmarked burial)
