Lance Sergeant Charles Gwinnut died in hospital in Malta.
He was 28 and had served for nearly two years with the R.A.. He was formerly employed at St Mary's Goods Wharf. Husband of Mrs C Gwinnutt of 110 Nuns Street, Derby.
