- SAXTON Charles Edward. Private, Ply/7942, 2nd Royal Marine Light Infantry Royal Navy Division. Born 15 October 1878 at Thornbury Gloucestershire to George and Edith Saxton, of Rudgeway, Bristol. Long Service and Good Conduct Medal. Died of his wounds, 30th December 1915 aged 36 years in a military hospital in Malta.
At rest in Plot C Grave 298 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
