In 1871 he was a retired army officer, living with his wife at Hawley, Hampshire
General, Arthur HILL. Born 22nd February 1837 died 26th December 1893. He was baptised, 13th April 1837 at Leeds, St Peter, son of John Hepworth and Maria Hill of Park Square, Leeds. Father's occupation, Barrister at Law. He was married on the 6th February 1862 to Harriett Miller. He was aged 24, Captain in the 23rd Battery. (Wills and Admin, Ancestry) He lived at 10 Hyde Park Mansion, Marylebone Road, Middlesex, retired Major General in Her Majesty's Army. His effects went to Charles Edward HILL, Lieutenant, Royal Artillery.
