Private Charles Roberts DEARING No. 3236 1st/5th Bn. North Staffordshire Regiment.
Died 26 November 1915 aged 22 at 2nd Western General Hospital (Manchester Royal Infirmary).

Son of the late Henry Arthur and Patience Eliffe Dearing.

In 1911 he was living with his widowed mother and siblings at 22 Ashford Street, Hanley, occupation, plumbers labourer.

His brothers Edward A, Harry and Frank R were all granted a war gratuity 10 April 1916 and John L, granted war gratuity 2 May 1916. Edward A had his revised 16 August 1919.
