Catherine Hay SHARPE

Extended Description: Catherine Hay SHARPE, (nee HAY) wife of Rear Admiral Alexander Renton Kirkpatrick SHARPE (Memorial have Captain SHARPE). C.B., HMS Minden died 26th October 1838 aged 44. At rest in Msida Bastion Cemetery, Floriana, Malta.
Alexander Renton Kirkpatrick Sharpe. One time in the army, entered the Navy, 22 May, 1799, as A.B., on board the Kent 74 Born 11th January 1785 at Hoddom Castle, Dumfriesshire, Scotland and died 1st May 1860 at Stockwell, Surrey, England aged 75.

Alexander Renton Sharpe, late of 10 Montpellier Villas, Stockwell, Surry died 1st May 1860 at Montpellier Villas. Effects went to William Sharpe of Knockhill in the County of Dumfies in North Britain, Esquire the brother and one of the next of kin of the said deceased he having been first sworn.
