- Carmelo GALEA. Leading Steward, E/LX20149, Royal Navy on HMS St. Angelo. Born 1st April 1901 at Vittoriosa, Malta. Husband of Stella Galea, of Casal Tarxien. Died 7th May 1944 aged 43 at the Royal Naval Hospital, Malta of Adenocarinoma of the pelvic colon and palliative colostomy.
