William Thomas CAKE. Born 18th April 1920 and died 14th January 1977. He was the husband of Kathleen Clara Cake. The following information I believe refers to William. Should this not be the case I will remove for this site.
He was Sergeant 551017 Royal Air Force, commissioned to Pilot Officer 56693 and promoted to Flying Officer 11th July 1945 (London Gazette dated 7th August 1945. At his own request he retired from the RAF as Flying Officer on the 22nd January 1965. London Gazetted dated 19th February 1965
