Here lieth the body of Simon BRISTOWE, youngest son of Thos BRISTOWE, Gent and Cicely his wife (who lie in ye chancel of this church) Also on the left side this tomb lieth Ann his wife, daughter of
J.S.ORME Esqr. The said Simon was some time in Cromwells Wars, departed this life ye 29th May 1681 aged 66, and he 5th July 1699 aged 80 Also on ye right side lies Samuel, son of ye aforesaid Simon BRISTOW (as inscribed) who died the 23rd of June 1703 aged 45 years Leaveing by his first wife Bennet, daughter of Richd BOTHAM, Esqr, who died June ye 9th, 1961 and was buried at Hopsford Warwickshire. Three daughters, Bennet, Elizabeth and Ann and by his last, Mary, daughter of Thos WARDE, Gent (Interrd here) who died ye 6th Octr 1751, aged 84 Two sons Samuel and John with two daughters Mary and Sarah Near this place is interrd ye sd Ann BRISTOWE ye younger. She died ye 17 of Ap 1753 aged 62
