Corporal 1696 Frank PEARSON, B Company died at Stationary Hospital, Peshawar on the 20th August 1916 aged 20. He was the son of Peter and LouisaPearson, of 1, Musgrave St., Penrith, Cumberland. In 1911 he was living with his parents and siblings at 14, Brougham Street, Penrith and at the age of 14 was a hosier's errand boy. He is at rest in Peshawar (Left) B.C. Private 201445 George Waddington ATKINSON, B Company died at Stationary Hospital Murree on the 20th June 1917 died age 19. Native of Staveley. He was the son of Dennis and Emma of 47 Catherine Street Doncaster South Yorkshire. formerly of 24, Cottage Broughton Lower in Furness. Some notes from what remains of his army record. He joined up on the 28th December 1914 aged 17 years and 4 months at Kendal. His parents Dennis and Emma were living at 47, Catherine Street, Doncaster. On the 27th July 1916 he was appointed the rank of Lance Corporal bur reverted to private on the 23rd August 1916. 28th February 1917 he was awarded the Good Conduct Medal. On the 20th June 1917 he died of dysentery in Murree, India. His medical report, part of which is missing. showed that he developed symptoms of peritonitis later (missing) inflamed. General peritonitis upper and lower (missing) ?rainge, Died. Transverse colon gangrenous (missing) places from intensity of inflammation. He had a brother serving with the Indian Arm.
