- Bernard POWELL. Engine Room Artificer 3rd Class M33891 Royal Navy on HMS Centaur. Born 10 June 1898 at Bolton, Lancashire enlisted 26 August 1918 on HMS Defiance civilian occupation, electrical fitter. Died 23rd September 1923 aged 25 years at Royal Naval Hospital Malta from enteric fever. His mother was informed of his death 24th September 1923.
At rest in Plot D Grave 497 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
