Berchtesgaden was the home to most of the top nazi party officals. Hitler, Goering, Himmler and other had houses there.. Hitler famous eagles nest is also located there... Many of the houses have been destroyed by the german goverment but you can still see the lasting impression that the Nazi left in this town
