Air Commodore Benjamin James SILLY. M.C., D.F.C. Royal Air Force died 7th December 1943 aged 50. Son of George and Lucy Silly husband of Frances Fanny Silly, of Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. His son James Lovitt Silly also fell. At rest in Sai Wan War Cemetery, Hong Kong, also commemorated on a memorial seat at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire.
