Captain, 6th North Staffordshire Regiment who fell in action at Loos, 13th October 1915 aged 38. 2nd son of Samuel & Dorothy. Commemorated on a family memorial at Uttoxeter cemetery, Staffordshire and also on the Loos Memorial, France
