BAKER, Algernon Robert William

Private 202505, 2/5th Gloucestershire Regiment died of wounds received in action at the scene from a German shell on the 14th September 1917. He was the son of William Charles and Sophia. In 1911 he was living with his widowed father, his sister, Evelyn Sophia and her husband Samuel Lewis Pool at Cobden Villa, Walkley Wood, Nailsworth, Gloucestershire. He is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, West-Vlaanderen, Belgium
