Extended Description
Surgeon Major Augustus Robinson HALL A.M.D. (Army Medical Department) died at Malta 4th February 1880 aged 42 on his way home from India from disease contracted while serving in the Afghan War of 1870. R.I.P.
8th August 1862, Assistant Surgeon with 52nd Oxford Light Infantry, 20th September 1864, Assistant Surgeon to the Royal Artillery.
(Wills and Admin, Ancestry) The Will of Augustus Robinson Hall of the Royal Artillery Barracks, Woolwich, Kent, Surgeon Major in the Army Medical Department who died 4th February 1880 at Malta was proved at the Principal Registry by Sanford Carter Rochat of 15 Rothwell Street, Regents Park Road, Middlesex, one of the executors.
