WITNEY Arthur Walter. Private, 1936, 1/4th Battalion, Essex Regiment, died of wounds on the 25th October 1915. He was born at Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex. Born about 1897 to Ambrose who was granted a war gratuity on the 17th April 1916, his mother was called Annie. In 1911 he was living with his parents at Princess Road, Burnham on Couch. He was employed as a bakers assistant.

CARTER Stanley. Private, 16672, 11th Manchester Regiment. Died 23rd October 1915, aged 20 years of dysentery in a military hospital in Malta. . He was born at Flixton , Lancashire, son of Thomas who was granted a war gratuity on the 27th August 1919. In 1911 he was living with his parents, Thomas and Sarah Ann at 30 Clifford Street, Bolton, Lancashire.

GARDEN Norman Douglas, Lance Corporal, 763, 7th Australian Infantry. Died of enteric fever, 23rd October 1915, aged 20 years. The son of Henry and Blanche E. Garden, of Berkeley Street, Castlemaine, Victoria, Australia.

Both at rest in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta. Plot A. Row XVII. Grave 05.
