- Arthur Thomas PORTER. Private PLY/12816, Royal Marines Light Infantry on HMS Aboukir. (Royal Marine Record, Ancestry show DOB 1st May 1885) Born 1884 in the registration district of Pancras, London. Enlisted 14th April 1904. Died Tuesday morning 7th June 1910, aged 25 years, at the Royal Naval Hospital Malta of Syphillis and gumma of brain. His mother was informed of his death 7th June 1910. At rest in Plot B Grave 186, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Malta.
