HUGHES Arthur. Driver, 29740, 15th Brigade, Ammunition Column Royal Horse Artillery, died 5th July 1915, aged 34 years. The son of William and Jane Hughes, of 66 Cambridge Street, Fenton, Stoke on Trent. His mother Jane and his brother, Private 12763 William Hughes, 14th Rifle Brigade were granted a war gratuity on the 11th September 1916.
HYND Thomas. Private, 9925, 1st King’s Own Scottish Borderers, died of wounds 8th July 1915 in Malta from injuries received in action at the Dardanelles. Born at Glasgow and lived at Coatbridge both in the county of Lanarkshire. Son of Jean who was granted a war gratuity on the 26th November 1915 also granted to his brothers and sisters.
GOLLOP Ernest. Private, 8858, 1st Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers. Died of wounds 6th July 1915 either at sea in a hospital ship or in Malta from wounds received in action at Gallipoli. Born at St Peter's Hampshire. His brother William T was granted a war gratuity on the 23rd February 1916.
