Arthur CHINNERY

Arthur CHINNERY. Petty Officer Mechanician, K57977 Royal Navy on HMS Revenge. Born 29th June 1898 at Esher Surrey to Arthur and Slenia Chinnery. In 1911 he was residing with his parents and siblings at 12 Park Road, Esher aged 12 years. Enlisted 1st June 1919 on HMS Vivid II occupation prior to enlistment, gardener and formerly J38316 Royal Navy. Died 15th June 1930 aged 31 years from drowning in Malta. His widow was informed of his death.
Memorial erected by his shipmates as a token of respect.
