- Archibald Frederick FIDLER. Able Seaman J60983, Royal Navy on HMS Courageous. Born 27th November 1900 at Wealdstone Middlesex enlisted 31st October 1916 on HMS Vivid II occupation prior to enlistment, boot repairer. Died 13th July 1928 from a fracture of the base of his skull and cerebral concussion at Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi, Malta aged 21 years.Wills and Admin, Ancestry. His residence in England was Archilles, Petersfield Road, Horndean, Hampshire. Died on date and place stated. His effects went to Elizabeth Harriett Fidler wife of Francis John Fidler.
