- Annie Elizabeth PORTCH, (Nee Vellender) Born 1858 to John and Alice Vellender nee Kibble. Wife of Walter George PORTCH, died 1st December 1884 aged 26.
Walter George PORTCH. Corporal 15th Company, Royal Engineers, husband of above. Born 1859 at Hull, Yorkshire, to William Henry and Mary Portch nee Roff. 1871 he was living with his parents and siblings at the married quarters, Royal Marine Barracks, Plymouth His father was a Colour Sergeant, Royal Marine Light Infantry.
He was married on the 23rd November 1879 at Christchurch, Southwark,

He was aged 21, telegraphist, lived at 7 Bennett Street, Christchurch, son of William Henry Portch and Mary Roff. She was called Annie Elizabeth Vellender aged 21 and lived at Blackfuan Road, Christchurch
He died in Malta 1 December 1885 aged 26 years.
